Can I use my own drone?
Yes. Any drone that can take overlapping photos of the site works — from a DJI Mini to enterprise drones. You fly, we build the model.
Do I need survey or CAD experience?
No. The viewer runs in your browser: you click points on a 3D model of your site and get distances, areas and angles. If you can use a map, you can use this.
How accurate are the measurements?
Accuracy depends on photo quality and flight altitude — typically within a few centimeters for a well-flown building survey. Calibrating with a known dimension improves it further.
What does the workflow look like?
Fly your drone and photograph the site → upload the photos → we build a 3D model → measure and organize quantities → export a BoQ for your quotation → track progress and export a statement each month.
My measurements don't match reality — what do I do?
Calibrate the model with a known dimension: measure something you know the true size of (a door, a window, a wall) and enter the real value. The whole model rescales to match.
What can I measure?
Distances, areas, angles and inclines. Measurements can be named, colored, grouped, and organized into sheets — so a full takeoff stays readable.
What is a BoQ export?
A bill of quantities built from your measurement groups — the quantities your quotation needs, exported instead of re-typed.
What are statements?
The Statement panel tracks which work was completed in each period. At the end of the month you export a statement — proof of progress behind every invoice.
Can I see which photos a measurement is based on?
Yes — the Inspect tool. Place a pin anywhere on the model and it shows you the source photos that built that exact spot.
Does it run in the browser? What do I need?
Yes, nothing to install. A desktop browser is recommended for measuring work.
My model has holes or looks melted in places. Why?
Usually not enough photo overlap, or reflective/moving surfaces (glass, water, vegetation in wind). Re-fly the area with more overlap and the model improves.
How do I share a project with my team or client?
Team sharing is on the roadmap — for now, exports (BoQ, statements) are the way to hand results to others.
